Twyford House Cricket Club’s U19s get chance of a lifetime!

Last Saturday, 11th September, Twyford House Cricket Club’s Under 19s stepped out to play at the renowned Gloucestershire County Cricket Ground, against Cheltenham Chiefs, in the Semi-Finals of the Vitality T20.

An amazing experience for this young team, who were sporting new long-sleeved shirts, provided by sponsors, Astra Security. The club already has a relationship with Astra, who are existing sponsors of the Women’s Team.

Whilst Twyford House were defeated by 5 wickets, the opportunity of playing in this historic ground would have been an awesome experience, and one that they will all remember, and no doubt hope to repeat.

Supporting local communities is an important part of the ethos at Astra Security, who understand the importance of giving something back. They support a number of charitable and fundraising initiatives across the region from providing raffle prizes for charity events, to kit sponsorship for up and coming sporting clubs and individuals.
