Gloucestershire Cricket hosts Sponsors’ Breakfast to kick-start the season
On Wednesday morning, Gloucestershire County Cricket Club hosted their first Sponsors’ Breakfast session for the year, and it certainly got off to a great start!
The sun was shining at the famous Seat Unique Stadium, as partners, sponsors, coaches, and players got together over breakfast. The event included a Q&A with Performance Director, Steve Snell and Head Coach, Dale Benkenstein, along with some players; as well as a fantastic opportunity for sponsors to mingle and network. And all over a sit-down breakfast!
Astra Security has recently signed a partnership deal as the Talent Pathway Programme Partner, which aims to identify and recruit talented cricketers within the region to fulfil their potential. Astra will also become the club’s first ever Activation Zone Partner for the 2022 Vitality Blast and Royal London Cup campaign.
Sarah Steer, Director of Finance, People and Compliance went along on the day, and said:
“It was a really great event to be invited to. Having an opportunity to meet other partners and sponsors at the ground as well as hear from players and coaches is an essential part of helping to maximise our partnership. I’ve met some interesting people today, and hopefully we can build up new and lasting relationships.”
Julie Creese, of GCCC commented:
“The Sponsors’ Breakfast went brilliantly, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. It was so lovely to get everyone together to kick-start the season.”
Sarah attended with fellow colleague, Paul Beet, Managing Director at Astra Security.
Their partnership with Gloucestershire County Cricket, is part of Astra’s long-standing relationship with the club, and sits within a wider commitment to support local communities, charities and grassroot sports.
