Astra Security reflect on this year and look ahead

Once again, Christmas is upon us, and it is always a time to reflect on how the year has gone and a chance to take stock and plan for the year ahead.

It would be remiss to not mention Covid, as we have all had to continue working with flexibility and ongoing changes. But, it feels as though this will be the ongoing ‘new normal’. I’m proud to say that here at Astra Security we’ve adapted to change very well, and always been committed to ensuring that the health and safety of our customers, partners, and staff is of paramount importance.

As a business, there’s some key highlights to focus on from the past 12 months:

• We’ve continued to be more creative and innovative to find new security solutions to ensure our clients’ needs are met. This was recognised earlier in the year by winning the OSPAs Award for most Outstanding Security Provider
• Our long-term commitment to local communities and charities continues in earnest, which is a key part of our ethos. We will continue to do this in 2022
• Staff training and development remains a core priority, and we continue to provide the very best in personal and professional development. This is delivered through apprenticeship programmes and ongoing Development Plans
• We’ve expanded our workforce in Bristol with a number of new recruits, as well as enhanced our Management Team by promoting two new Directors
• We’ve made a commitment to the environment by appointing a ‘Green Team’, who will be responsible for delivering a more sustainable business
• We’re continuing to celebrate our 15-year anniversary – a proud milestone for the business

On top of this, we have maintained our ongoing high standard of delivery to all our existing customers and clients. We look forward to continuing in this way, and to look for new opportunities within the marketplace.
