A long-standing partnership with a worthy cause

Yesterday saw members of the Astra Security team join fellow partners and supporters at a Celebration Reception hosted by Unique Voice. 

The event, which took place at the iconic Gloucestershire County Cricket Stadium, was attended by 20 of the company’s closest supporters, and included guests such as the Lord Mayor, Unique Voice’s Advisory Group Members, and their 2022 funders.  It was an opportunity for Unique Voice to celebrate their successful year, and more importantly showcase their great work. The company remain firm believers in the power of creativity to evoke thought, provide a safe space and allow young people to flourish.

The partnership between Astra Security and the Social Enterprise has been in place for over 6 years, and seeing first hand how this ongoing support benefits the disadvantaged families across Bristol and Gloucestershire is truly heart-warming.

Krystal Keeley, Director at Unique Voice said, “It was fantastic to be joined by our supporters for the celebration, we couldn’t have done the year without them.”

Sarah Steer (pictured on the left of the photo), Director of Finance, People and Compliance at Astra said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be here today.  Unique Voice is a very special organisation, and one which we’ve seen grow and thrive over the last 6 years.  The work they do is outstanding, and the Team at Astra are proud to be involved.” Sarah went on to say,  “ It’s been great today listening to the future plans, along with hearing the successes of the past year, as well as raise a glass with our fellow partners and supporters.”

Astra Security has provided much needed funding for activity packs, which are distributed to disadvantaged young people across the region.

Supporting local communities is an important part of our ethos here at Astra Security.  We understand the importance of giving something back.
