Astra’s Jonny Passes Site Management Safety Training Scheme Course

A big well done goes out to Jonny Coates, Account Manager at Astra Security, for completing and passing the Site Management Safety Training Scheme Course (SMSTS).

Jonny spent a week in a classroom in Bristol covering all elements which are critical to ‘working safely’.

The course is designed for companies that need to meet the ever-increasing demand for evidence of sound health and safety on site, and covers all relevant legislation and other aspects which can affect safe working.

Jonny said:

“It was a 5 day classroom course, where we looked at responsibilities and accountability for site health, safety and welfare. It was incredibly thorough, intense, but really valuable. I learnt so much, and it’s great to be able to apply this knowledge to my day to day job.”

The course is run by our partners at BSG (Building Safety Group), who specialise in providing health, safety and environmental consultancy and training.
