Astra continues to support its staff by offering free flu vaccinations

For the third year running, all staff at Astra Security will be able to have the flu jab free of charge, with no restrictions on age etc.,  which is all part of the ongoing programme of Health and Wellbeing within the company.

The flu jab is more important than ever this winter. People are being advised to get the flu jab to help protect against the double danger of flu and coronavirus. 

Sarah Steer, Director of Finance, People and Compliance at Astra said “We introduced this additional health benefit over two years ago for our staff, and in doing this, we are taking added responsibility for helping to keep them safe and well, which is more important than ever. Staff wellbeing continues to be our highest priority, and we are proud to support staff in accessing the winter flu vaccine. If we can do our bit to help reduce the pressure on the health and social care system this winter, then that’s great.”

This benefit is part of a wider Health and Wellbeing Programme offered at Astra Security, who already have several initiatives in place including the Cyclescheme, Fruit Boxes, Flexible Working, and a commitment to support Mental Health.
